Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo will be missing out the much-anticipated El Clasico clash against arch-rivals Barcelona, in Miami, on Saturday.

The Brazil superstar set up both Ivan Rakitic and Gerard Pique during the Catalan giants' 3-2 win on their United States tour in the early hours of this morning.

It was Lionel Messi who scored first after just three minutes of start and then Ivan Rakitic doubled Barcelona's lead with a powerful strike.

Kovacic pulled a goal back for Madrid in the 14th minute when he evaded a tackle and cooly picked his spot to hand the Spanish champions a lifeline.

Rafinha and Gerard Deulofeu won't be playing for Barcelona as they will be out due to injury.

Speaking on the coming International Champions Cup matches, Brands and Marketing Director, StarTimes, Mr. Qasim Elegbede, said StarTimes remains commitment to delivering quality sporting content to its subscribers.

Staying closer to recent events, those who packed the Hard Rock Stadium got their monies worth, a five-goal thriller befitting the club's who in recent years have dished a plethora of moments.

"I always try to talk about things that happen rather than things that might happen", he said.

The Portugal star and Ballon d'Or victor is the only big-name Real Madrid player that will not feature in the Clasico although he had reportedly hoped to attend. This is the third match for Barcelona in this season.

Madrid continued to live dangerously as Messi weaved his way into the penalty area, however Navas was quick to deny the Argentine star.

"After that, fine margins matter in football and when I watch our matches back, I look at what we struggled in".

There was an early scare as Neymar hobbled off the field in the second minute with an apparent ankle injury but he made his way back onto the pitch as Barca broke the deadlock.

His anonymous evening continued after he was switched to the left wing in the second half, before he finally offered a goal threat after 65 minutes when he ran onto a long ball and forced Jasper Cillessen into a decent near-post save.

"The important thing is to be ready for August 8".

"It was hard because of the heat and the humidity, but I think we had a good start", Valverde said.
