The pair have reunited on "We're On The Road Again", which will appear on Starr's new album, "Give More Love". The song also has guest appearances from Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter and Steve Lukather.

"Well we are still mates".

At the time, it was unclear whether Starr would eventually release anything from the session, but now we don't have to wonder: A new song, "We're on the Road Again", just made its debut. "We're gonna play some rock "n" roll, that's true/And we're headin' down the highway and playing for you..."

You can check out the star-studded track via Rolling Stone. In addition, Sir Paul can be heard singing prominently alongside Ringo near the end of the tune, and also plays a bass solo that brings the track to a close. For the album, which will be launched in digital format, CD and vinyl, Starr will also have the cooperation of musicians Peter Frampton, Richard Marx, Glen Ballard, Dave Stewart, Don Was and Timothy B. Schmit. Starr will be hitting the road with his All Starr Band this fall, starting with an extended run in Las Vegas.
