"This is all on me by the way", Kelly testified."I should have delayed it just a bit so that I could talk to members of Congress".

Priebus said the president wanted go "a different direction" and that it was "a healthy thing". He also pledged to continue to support Trump's agenda.

He previously served as the former Commander of US Southern Command and was the commanding general of the Multi- National Force West in Iraq from February 2008 to February 2009. Trump thanked him for his service and "dedication to his country".

Priebus traveled with Trump earlier in the day to an appearance in Brentwood, New York.

President Trump wasn't the only one to bully the top staffer in the White House.

A new name was added to the Trump Administration Friday following a week of drama surrounding the position of chief of staff, leading to the ousting of Reince Priebus.

Priebus and Scaramucci flew together on Air Force One to the NY event, but the White House press pool reported they didn't see the communications director on the plane for the return trip.

"In seven months time he's done so much for the country", Kerkman said.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer resigned last week after Scaramucci was hired.

Priebus brought with Spicer, a former RNC official, with him to the White House.

On Wednesday, Politico published a story that the reporter later said was based not on a leak but on Scaramucci's publicly available financial disclosure form at the Export-Import Bank.

Mark Corallo, spokesman for the President's legal team, resigned amid reports of disagreements in dealing with the inquiry into claims of Russian meddling in last year's USA election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.

Deep tax cuts at the time of a trillion-dollar infrastructure plan promised by Trump would nearly certainly result in the United States government deficit growing. "I think things are going well", he said a few days before the election. Reporters had noticed no sign of stress from Priebus during the day.

Priebus, before serving as chairman of the Republican National Committee for six years, was chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party. Priebus had tried unsuccessfully to block Scaramucci's hiring. But the tornado of Trump only got stronger, and no amount of plywood and nails would keep the house in order.

He later deleted that tweet and said he had only mentioned Mr Priebus to show that all senior leaders were taking the leak crackdown seriously. "He has been a true star of my Administration", Trump said.

But Priebus had to temper his criticisms throughout the campaign so he didn't suffer Trump's wrath - and the party didn't implode.

Priebus eventually won over Trump.

Asked when Kelly was offered the chief of staff job, she said, "They've been talking about it for a while".

"Reince Priebus is a good friend".

The centrists wish to ensure nobody loses healthcare coverage in the Republican replacement bill - a promise made by Trump himself of the campaign trail.

Trump has ruffled feathers with off-message tweets, his handling of the Russian Federation investigation, the firing James Comey as FBI director (arguably his most high-profile political miscue) and his public shaming of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, which has turned many congressional Republicans on the president.
