Dragon Quest 11 Release Confirmed For The West In 2018

While we still don't know exactly when to expect it, Square Enix has confirmed the game will be localized for western markets. Echoes of an Elusive Age will be released outside of Japan. The publisher said in a release that it plans to reveal more details about Dragon Quest 11 sometime this fall.

Yuji Horii, designer of the Dragon Quest series, has officially announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be localised for Western audiences. The other four weren't announced in the video, but its subtitle options included English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

Although Square Enix has not announced which platforms Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will come to the west on, the game launched today in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS.

Dragon Quest XI is out tomorrow on PS4 and 3DS - the Switch version is coming later.

The highly anticipated latest entry to the beloved DRAGON QUEST video game franchise follows the adventure of a hero who must solve the mystery of his fate with the aid of a charming cast of supporting characters.
