A NY jury convicted a woman and her son in the murder of her estranged husband whose face was disfigured with acid last summer.

The jury found Craig's estranged wife Laura Rideout guilty of murder, tampering with evidence and burglary.

Alex Rideout, also Craig's son, was found not guilty of murder, but guilty of tampering with evidence.

Laura Rideout, her sons Colin and Alexander, and her boyfriend Paul Tucci were all accused of killing the Rochester-area man and dumping his body in Penn Yan last summer. Tucci is cleared of all charges. A contentious divorce and custody battle were factors for strangling and beating Craig Rideout in his Penfield home on July 20, 2016, prosecutors charged.

After four full days of deliberations and then some, the jury has rendered its verdict in the murder trial of Craig Rideout. All three Rideouts were taken away in handcuffs. "To see someone so horrendously murder their own flesh and blood is unbelievable".
