Chrissy Teigen has been fired from President Trump's personal Twitter account.

Teigen, 31, shared this Tuesday morning a screenshot of a message provided by Twitter where she is informed about the blockage.

"After 9 years of hating Donald J Trump, telling him "lol no one likes you" was the straw", she tweeted along with a photo showing proof that he has blocked her from his page.

However, Teigen and her husband, John Legend, have not always had such a contentious relationship with the now-president.

Buzzfeed quoted Teigen recently as saying: "If you go back, I've been trolling [Trump] for about five to seven years now".

While Teigen's latest jibes clearly hit a nerve with the polarising POTUS, the model has certainly tweeted far worse in previous years. Last month, she literally told him to "grow the f-ck up". In May, she had one of the best reactions to Trump's infamous "covfefe" tweet: "you are so insane that I pray every day I am a sim being played by aliens", she posted. I've been doing this forever and I take pride in that. There's no other way to read this other than reaching the conclusion that Trump really has been tuning in to Teigen's jokes about him all this time, right?

Upon seeing that Trump had shared the tweet, Teigen - who's born on November 30 - responded: "The greatest birthday gift ever".
