The release date is not yet revealed by the company, but there's a chance that the device might be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23. The smartphone is price at Rs. 11,490 and highlights an HD Super AMOLED display, Android Nougat OS, and a 13-megapixel rear camera, among other things. The handset is being sold in India via Samsung's official online store and will soon be available through offline channels across India. Samsung has included a 1.6Ghz octa-core processor under the hood, paired with 2GB RAM. In a latest update, live images of Samsung's gen-next Active device, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active have leaked.

Galaxy J7 Nxt smartphone comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. However, there is a built-in microSD slot so that you can expand storage up to 256GB.

Both the smartphones were launched with Android Marshmallow operating system. Just like the previous S active phones, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be resistant to salt, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock. Other highlights of the Galaxy J7 Nxt include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, microUSB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and Global Positioning System. The smartphone also features a 3,300mAh battery. Dimensionally, the handset measures 152.4 x 78.6 x 7.6 mm and weighs 170 grams.

The Unpacked event is extremely important for the company, considering the last year's Galaxy Note 7 lineup was recalled thanks to faulty batteries.

First things first: the Samsung Galaxy 8 is one of the most handsome phones around, with a 5.8-inch curved screen that is simply fantastic, offset by the three available slick colours: orchid grey, arctic silver and midnight black. All the basic sensors such as proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, accelerometer, etc. will present on the phone.
