Carlo Ancelotti has admitted Renato Sanches could leave Bayern Munich this summer amid speculation Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal.

Sanches, 19, only joined Bayern last summer, arriving for around £30m from Benfica.

Despite arriving at Bayern for £30million last May, the midfielder endured a hard season in the Bundesliga, failing to score in 17 league appearances.

United are in the market for a central midfield player, with Vidal one of the players they have been linked with in recent days.

Asked about the Old Trafford's side reported interest in Sanches, he said: "At this time, he's training with us". 'We have to make a decision.

"Vidal is our player, I have a lot of confidence", said the Italian ahead of Bayern's friendly with Chelsea in Singapore on Tuesday.

'I know there are rumours and we're used to rumours.

With the Portugal global now on tour with the Bundesliga champions in Singapore, Ancelotti says there will be no quick solution to his future and suggested he may even stay for a second season. "He'll stay with us 100 per cent - I'm confident about that". [It is] also a possibility he stays with us and helps us'.

'They will be competitive [in the Champions League],' he said. "They've made good signings and the team is a better than previous year". I'm not sure. Antonio Conte changed the mentality of the team and the style of play'.
