After signing the contract, Morata said, "I'm so happy to be here".

Chelsea are said to also be considering making a move for the 30-year-old, who Inter could offload this summer.

"He went to hospital but he will be OK", the Italian told Chelsea TV.

Pedro was being treated for a concussion, and while he was staying in Beijing temporarily, he is expected to re-join the squad in Singapore this weekend. After being signed from Sevilla for a mere £5m, the 32-year-old's physical dominance up front became the spearhead of Swansea's attack, scoring 15 Premier League goals as the Swans narrowly avoided relegation. The real test and evaluation of Arsenal will come August 6 as they play Chelsea in the FA Community Shield.

After a hard start to the transfer window, Chelsea are finally making the right moves and Antonio Conte has now hinted that the Premier League champions could have a fifth new addition to their squad as early as next week.

The experienced utility man was one of the key performers for Inter Milan last season racking six goals and adding 10 assists in Serie A. "It is very important for our future success to create this base".

"It was a bit of a combination for us, I think it was a good opportunity for me to see players at that level who have no experience". He must continue this way because he is working well for us.

There shouldn't be too much worry for Arsenal fans as this was only a pre-season friendly.

"I think also we can have other captains in our team, it could be Azpilicueta, Luiz, and also, in the future, it could be Thibaut Courtois, Cesc Fabregas".
