Kerala police arrest production executive for blackmailing actress Mythili

Kerala Police has arrested a production executive named Kiran Kumar from Ottappalam based on a complaint filed by Malayalam film actress Mythili over spreading her derogatory images on social media.

It is learnt that Kiran had been blackmailing the actress to shell out Rs 75 lakh after their "friendship" ended on a bad note when she realised he was already married.

But soon after she became a known face, the accused changed his mind and posted pics of the actress online. As per reports on HT, "Kumar was in a relationship with the actress during 2008". When Mythili turned a deaf year to Kiran's demands, he posted the picture on Facebook and WhatsApp, and the intimate images instantly went viral. After this online leak, Mythili approached the police. Mythili ignored these threats and as a result of it, Kiran uploaded the pictures on social media on Saturday. Sanath Jayasuriya leaks Sex Tape? He even visited the shooting locations to threaten her, which prompted the actress to file a police complaint.

The police are also probing whether more persons are involved in the case. "They will also be arrested", said Ernakulam Assistant Commissioner K Laljy.

This is the second controversial case where a woman was in a threatening situation in the Malayalam film industry alone.

This controversy comes after Dileep's shocking arrest for his alleged involvement int he abduction and assault of a leading Malayalm actress.

The accused has been booked under sections 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 66 (A) of the IT Act.

Mythili debuted in the Malayalam industry in 2008 with Paleri Manikyam.
