Expect afternoon thunderstorms following morning offshore showers

Partly cloudy and humid tonight with lows in the lower to mid 70s.

The tropics are mainly quiet. This will bring some relief from the heat to those that do see rain. Saturday turned out to be the hottest day so far with highs in the mid to upper-90s. The highest chance for those storms will come after 5 p.m.as storms likely move in from the west. Low: 78. High: 96. Wind: S 10-15 miles per hour. Highs will be in the lower 90s with southwest winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. We expect more storms to develop based on the amount of sunshine and heat we have for the afternoon. Cloudy, with a low around 75.

Spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible through early-morning Sunday.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Wind: SW 10 miles per hour.

Mostly cloudy and still humid with a shower around. Winds will be light and variable through the evening as well. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Highs in the mid 90s, but feeling more like upper 90s near 100. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Tuesday: A chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Today's high will be near 86 degrees.

Wednesday night: A chance of showers. Look for another round of thunderstorms to pass through the area Thursday.

Saturday. Mostly cloudy. Showers and storms possbile.

Friday night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 9pm and 1 a.m. Wind: NW 10 miles per hour.

Thursday Night.Mostly clear. Lows in the low-to-mid 70s. Winds will be out of the south-southeast between 5 to 10 miles per hour. North wind 3 to 5 miles per hour. The low will be around 76. Light and variable wind becoming west 6 to 11 miles per hour in the morning. Low: 82. High: 102. High 88. FRIDAY: Clouds, some sun.
