President Muhammadu Buhari has met with state Governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is the first public picture of Buhari since he embarked on an open-ended medical vacation on May 7, 2017.

President Buhari has been in London for over 70 days, receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

The Guinean leader had reportedly been scheduled to visit Nigeria in March to meet with President Buhari, but had been unable to due to the President's health.

"He said that the president was delighted to receive the delegation and asked each governor about affairs in his state".

"According to the governor, Nigerians don't have to worry at all, adding that President Buhari will be back as soon as the doctors give him the green light". Here are 5 reasons Buhari will not be removed from office.

State governors at the meeting include Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), and Yahaya Bello (Kogi); as well as the APC National Chairman, John Oyegun among other leaders of the party.

The presidency has repeatedly rejected rumors that Buhari is terminally ill or even dead but has refused to disclose his illness or what treatment he is having.

On May 29, he failed to speak with the citizens, but his Vice, Mr Yemi Osinbajo, who has been acting as President, did.

The silence on Buhari's health has led to a flurry of speculation about his fitness for office and potential successor, prompting cryptic warnings from the president's camp.

"President Buhari was completely unperturbed by the cocktail of lies".
