In addition to some absolutely marvellous banter from Brienne and Ser Davos, HBO dropped a minute-long teaser. And what is Littlefinger saying to Sansa Stark? The video features the return of Melisandre (Carice van Houten), who was banished by Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in season 6.

The action-packed clip ends with Daenerys and Melisandre conspiring in the throne room at Dragonstone with the latter announcing, "I believe you have a role to play".

What does that mean?

Currently, there are two main candidates for the position: Daenerys and Jon, both of whom can claim to have been born under a bleeding star (her a comet, him a bloodied sword made from a meteorite) and amidst salt and smoke as the prophecy dictates.

There are only six episodes left of this season of Game of Thrones, and we finally have our first look at what to expect as Dany, Jon, and Cersei battle it out for the Iron Throne. That, my friends, is something worth fighting for, especially when women are so frequently underestimated on Game of Thrones.

"He is known to the producers of the show and some of the cast, and he's a enormous fan of the show".

"I believe you have a role to play, as does another", the Red Witch tells the Mother of Dragons at the close of a new trailer revealed Friday at Comic-Con.

Last but not least, the iconic Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) had her own take on the pantsuit.

With so much excitement surrounding the current season of Game of Thrones, the actors don't need gimmicks to keep their fans interested. "But underneath any awkwardness is always a potential secret enjoyment".

And now this new line of dialogue seems to be hinting in this direction as well. "I want those kids to be happy and find happiness between them".

Turner said Sansa's "not looking for a relationship or love" at the moment, not because she "sees men in a different light". Now that she's officially back in the Seven Kingdoms' fold, she has her sights on the kind of domination that will see her cross paths with some of our Westerosi favorites.

Cunningham said he wished his "baby girl" Shireen hadn't died, and ruminated that he would "whip out a Glock" and "pop a couple of caps" in Melisandre if he got a chance to catch up with her.

Game of Thrones is now streaming on Foxtel.
