Juventus have completed the acquisition of Mattia De Sciglio from AC Milan, with the full-back signing a five-year contract on Thursday. "Juventus and the player have signed a 5-year contract of employment until 30 June 2022", the club have announced through their official website.

The right-back will be expected to replace Dani Alves, after the Brazilian left for Paris Saint-Germain following a solitary season in Turin.

Mattia De Sciglio is the 4th player to be signed by Juventus this season following the arrivals of Rodrigo Bentancur, Douglas Costa and most recently Wojciech Szczesny.

Bonucci joined Juve's ambitious Serie A rival in a deal worth €42million amid reports of a breakdown in relations between the Italy centre-back and manager Massimiliano Allegri.

De Sciglio has been capped over 30 times by Italy since an worldwide debut in 2013 and had been a regular with Milan since 2012 after first breaking through as a teenager.

They also sold their star defender Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan for a reported £35 million fee and are now looking to sign Lazio Winger Keita Balde and Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi.

The 24-year-old enjoyed the best spell of his Milan career under Juventus boss Max Allegri, who will look to revitalise De Sciglio's somewhat stalled career now they have been reunited.
