Attributing the disappearance of Sheeran's Twitter account to the reaction to his Game of Thrones cameo might be stretching things a little bit, however. HBO execs might have felt some gnawing fear about lower ratings when they made a decision to bring back "Game of Thrones" in the summer for the first time, instead of the spring. But if he was on the fence about it, the response to Game of Thrones may have sent him over the edge.

The trailer of Game of Thrones Season 7's second episode is out and it looks quite intriguing, as we get a glimpse of Lord Baelish (also popular as littlefinger) fighting someone.

The Game Of Thrones team have released another official trailer for the seventh season of the hit TV show.

In the episode, "Dragonstone", Sheeran played a Lannister soldier with a penchant for singing.

Ed recalled one particular incident where Lady Gaga's fans mistakenly thought he was criticising the "Million Reasons" hitmaker in an interview. Showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff dropped the news that Sheeran would pop up in the show, but didn't give any details about his appearance at the time. Is this like the Glee Britney Spears episode? Another also showed a GIF of his face the moment he realized that the guy who sounded like Ed Sheeran was actually THE Ed Sheeran. She said she's never heard it before. The trailer for season 7 showed us some hints at what's to come and there was a small scene that may have some fans excited. Ed answers by saying it is available on iTunes. While some praised Ed's cameo role in the series, a lot of them did not seem impressed. Ed Sheeran just crossed that one out.
