The Yoan Moncada Era begins in Chicago on Wednesday as the White Sox host the red-hot Los Angeles Dodgers in the finale of a two-game interleague series.

With Kiké Hernandez hitting two home runs and the team pounding out 13 hits in all (seven for extra bases), the Dodgers dismissed the Chicago White Sox with a 9-1 defeat Wednesday night and didn't even need the full nine innings to do it.

OUR PREDICTION: The Dodgers are 8-2 in Maeda's last 10 starts, are 4-0 in their last four road games, and have won 43 of their last 54 games overall.

The Dodgers are 4-1 in their last 5 Wednesday games, 48-23 in their last 71 during game 2 of a series and 8-2 in Maedas last 10 starts.

"As I walked in the clubhouse (after Tuesday's win), feeling the tone and the demeanors of guys - when we win guys are usually more upbeat". This is the second 10-game winning streak of the season for the NL West leaders.

Ramirez, getting his third start of the season at first base, hit the first pitch from Mike Bolsinger (0-3) completely out of Fenway Park for his 15th homer of the season and the third walk-off home run of his career. The Los Angeles Dodgers haven't lost a game since scoring more than three runs in June 15.

"Seven innings scoreless and pitched out a couple of jams and made pitches when he needed to", Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.

"We have the best team in baseball right now, yes", closer Kenley Jensen told the Chicago Tribune. It got a little better as we went along. The slider wasn't there, but I tried to make things happen.

Six of the 11 victories in their current streak have been by one run. Corey Seager leads the Dodgers with 93 hits and 46 RBI while Justin Turner and Chris Taylor have combined for 169 hits and 77 RBI.

MINNEAPOLIS - Bartolo Colon faltered in the fifth inning after a decent start by the burly 44-year-old, whose Minnesota debut ended with a two-run double by Gary Sanchez that sent NY on its way to a victory.

Didi Gregorius had three hits, including a two-run homer in a five-run fifth inning, and NY spoiled Bartolo Colon's Minnesota debut. Trayce Thompson will take his place in center.

During their 31-4 run, the Dodgers have hit 72 home runs, the most in baseball, and Hernandez became the seventh different Dodger to have a multi-home run game this season. Aaron Judge had two hits, a walk, two runs and an RBI, and Gary Sanchez added two hits and two RBIs for NY, which has won 11 of its past 14 games against Minnesota. But there's no reason for the Japanese right-hander to get comfortable.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Nicholas Castellanos homered twice and drove in five runs, and Detroit scored five times in the second inning and cruised from there past Kansas City. "But I know that he did everything he could do to earn that opportunity".
