During a Monday radio interview with White House aide Sebastian Gorka, Fox News' Sean Hannity went after his fellow Fox colleague Shep Smith.

"Sometimes facts are displeasing", Smith told Mediate. "Journalists report them without fear or favor".

The "rant" Hannity was likely referring to came during a Fox segment last week, in which Smith slammed the Trump administration's constant flip-flopping between narratives on Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer over promises of incrimination information on Hillary Clinton as part of a Russian government effort to help his father's campaign.

Roberts left the White House press briefing to appear on the Fox News show "Shepard Smith Reporting". "I like Shep, but he's so anti-Trump".

However, Hannity remarked that Smith's ranting was "fine". Hannity said. "We don't talk politics when we hang out, when I see him we have the best time and we just have this mutual respect".

"Smith is a hard news anchor who is supposed to cover the news straight down the middle with no bias. Both have been with Fox News since its inception in 1996", CNN explained.

It should be noted that Hannity and Smith have very different jobs.
