Wonder Woman Sequel Rumored To Be Announced At Comic-Con

But while there have been plenty of talks about sequel plans for Wonder Woman over the past several weeks since the film's release, Warner Bros. has yet to officially announce any plans for a Wonder Woman sequel, much to shock and dismay of both DC fans and industry insiders. The film, a sequel to this year's hit from Patty Jenkins, is said to already be underway, with Jenkins and DC CCO and President and co-head of DC Films Geoff Johns working on the story now. If things don't go "as planned", it could be inferred that Jenkins hasn't yet signed the dotted line.

Wonder Woman's domestic box office total now stands at $380.7 million and will soon became Warner Bros.' third biggest domestic box office gross of all time without adjusting for inflation, passing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 ($381 million) and falling behind Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight ($533.3 million) and The Dark Knight Rises ($448.1 million).
