Earlier this month, rumours surfaced that Prince Harry was due to pop the question before his birthday in autumn.

As we wait with bated breath for Prince Harry to propose to his girlfriend Meghan Markle, it seems a pal has let slip that the wedding planning is already in full swing.

Former US marine and Paralympic hopeful Kirstie Ennis may have accidentally revealed all about the couple moving to the next stage of their relationship in a recent interview.

Nodding, she replied: "I don't think I'm anxious about the wedding".

But when pressed for more information she may have realised that she'd already given away too much and quickly "pleaded the fifth" - the American term used when a person wishes to stay silent on an issue. "I'm anxious about the after-party".

Ms Ennis then went quiet and said "touché, true" when reminded the "fifth doesn't count in England", according to The Express.

Now, former USA marine Kirstie Ennis, who has been pals with Harry for five years, confirmed she was expecting a royal wedding between the pair.

Ennis was injured in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan in 2012 that left her with brain and spine damage, a smashed jaw, arms and legs.

Sources also claim he is willing to ditch some of his royal responsibilities if he marries the U.S. actress.

One source told the publication: "Harry has found the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with".

However, the website ends its article saying that "Harry isn't the kind of guy who would jeopardize his relationship with Meghan to be with Rita".
