As we all know that WhatsApp don't support in app playback for YouTube videos.

WhatsApp is testing in-app YouTube video playback in the iOS version of their beta app. But that is about to change as WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new feature that will let users play the YouTube videos within the app.

WhatsApp is one such messaging platform, the developer of which releases new updates quite frequently.

You can pinch on the Picture in Picture mode in order to expand it, or you can open the video in a new WhatsApp section to view it in full screen mode. Users will be able to play the videos in Youtube in a picture in picture window.

One will also be able to hide ongoing video to read the message in the chat box. To avail that facility you need to swipe the video to the right. The report also says that the feature is now only available for Apple iPhone 6 or its higher variants.

The new feature was first discovered by WABetainfo, now not available for beta users as it is in testing. Meanwhile, WhatsApp had recently come up with an update that will allow users to share all types of file and documents on the app.

If WhatsApp will add it also in Android and WP versions, you will see a post here and you will be notified on Twitter and our Telegram Channel, but be confident. As of now, the WhatsApp feature is available for iOS devices only and there is no information on when it will be available to the public on both iOS and Android smartphones. Unless the Facebook owned company finds a problem with this feature or too many bugs are not found, we can expect the launch of the feature soon.
