Britain's Chijindu Ujah ran under 10 seconds in Rabat, Morocco, to set a new meeting record and secure his third 100m Diamond League win of the season.

Today's race would have been Blake's last before the World Championships, but he said this would have little effect on his preparations.

Reigning double Olympic sprint champion Thompson in contrast was all smiles after annexing the 100m in a meeting record 10.87sec.

Marie-Josee Ta Lou of Ivory Coast, who has a season's best of 10.96, and Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguomor with 10.99 - who both chased Thompson in Paris - will be hoping for better this time around. Kenya's Olympic champion Conseslus Kipruto did not finish the race.

Shaunae Miller-Uibo of Bahamas destroys the field to win with a margin of over one second. The South African has a personal best of 50.40 and a season's best of 51.60.

The inconsistent Janieve Russell of MVP will lead national champion, Rhonda Whyte and sisters Nikita and Ristananna Tracey in the 400m hurdles, to be run in two heats and a final.

American Ryan Crouser won with a throw of 22.47 metres.

Zuzana Hejnova of the Czech Republic won the women's 400 metres in 54.22 seconds.

While Croatia's Rio 2016 javelin victor Sara Kolak was otherwise engaged, winning the European Under-23 title with an effort of 65.12m in Bydgoszcz, her Czech predecessor as Olympic champion, Barbora Spotakova, who beat Kolak with a final round season's best of 68.26m at last week's London Diamond League, secured another victory with 63.73.

Jamaica's Commonwealth Games 200m champion Rasheed Dwyer of Sprintec and Olympic bronze medallist Warren Weir will be matching strides with the American and Canadian champions Ameer Webb and Andre DeGrasse, respectively.

Rushwal Samaai of South Africa jumped 8.35 (0.4) in the 3rd round for the win.

In the women's triple jump, Jamaican Kimberly Williams finished second with an effort of 14.31 metres. Americans Jarrion Lawson and Mike Hartfield with 8.28 and 8.21m also make it a top-class field.
