Latimer was trying to get into the Diamonds Cabaret strip club in February with his uncle and a friend, when a bouncer pepper sprayed Latimer, according to TMZ Sports.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer is responding to reports that he was pepper sprayed by a bouncer during a fight outside a strip club in OH in February. It had nothing to do with a dress code. Upon slapping the bouncer in the face, the 24-year-old pass catcher incited an all-out fight while being pepper sprayed in the process.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer is trying to move on from a forgettable night but new released video won't let him.

In a statement issued to Mike Klis of 9 News, the Broncos merely said they are aware of the matter and that it took place several months ago. "It happened six months ago".

In a Twitter message posted Sunday afternoon, Latimer said he has "grown so much since February 20" and that "this situation is in the past".

It's unclear when the Broncos found out about the incident, but they informed the National Football League, which told The Denver Post that it is aware of the matter but declined to comment. I didn't want trouble so we got out.

Latimer says he's talked with Coach Vance Joseph and the organization, and has "been very upfront and explained everything".
