Naz Baloch explains why she left PTI to join PPP.

In an untoward development, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Karachi stalwart Naz Baloch ditched the party to join Pakistan Peoples Party on Sunday.

The new entrant to the PPP said that she had spent good time with Tehreek-e-Insaf but now she had made a decision to part ways with her parent political party as the PTI had deviated from its manifesto and objectives.

"I feel as if I have come home again", Baloch told reporters.

Baloch said she worked hard for party on social media and dedicated herself for the party, but Khan totally neglected her.

Baloch while discussing PTI's situation said local leadership created huge gap between Imran Khan and party workers. "This is done by the Karachi party leadership, and I raised my voice about it prominently while I was with PTI", she added.

She however said that she did not have any ill will against Imran Khan and continued to respect him. "I don't wish to defame a party with whom I have had a good run", she said.

Soon after defecting to PPP, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari welcomed Naz through the microblogging site. "I have made complaints about what I feel is male chauvinism in the party; only men are present when it is time to make decisions". "My services being a daughter of Karachi under the leadership of Imran Khan are not a secret to anyone", she said.

Baloch blamed a group of four people who she alleged were eyeing the coveted post of Karachi division's president rather than working for the grassroots. "I even eulogized the services of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto during my time with the PTI", she said. Baloch contested the 2013 general election from the NA-240 constituency as a PTI candidate.

"I am a representative of Sindh". "These people are responsible for the party's defeat in recent by-elections", she said.

Naz Baloch was of the view that she was happy on joining the PPP.

Regarding the law recently passed by the Sindh Assembly to strike down the National Accountability Ordinance-1999 (NAO) in the province, the CM said that former military ruler Pervez Musharraf had imposed the NAO when a state of emergency was declared in the country.
