Jakupovic left Hull's training camp in Portugal on Sunday lunchtime to fly home as City agreed a fee with the Tigers for the one-time Switzerland worldwide. The Bosnian will then join the Foxes in Hong Kong for their pre-season fixture against West Bromwich Albion.

Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic set to undergo his medical on Tuesday ahead of his move to Leicester City. The Switzerland global had a terrific season in an otherwise shambolic campaign for his team as they were relegated for the second time in three years.

Jakupovic isn't just a decent replacement - he is much more than that. Because of this, Hull will need to look for a new shot stopper who could replace Jakupovic should he head to the King Power Stadium.

The North East side were relegated from the Premier League last season and saw manager Marco Silva jump ship, and having seen the likes of Curtis Davies, Harry Maguire, and Tom Huddlestone also leave the club this summer, it looks like new boss Slutsky is facing a hard first test in English football next term.

The only other major signing that Leicester have made this summer was that of Sevilla's 29-year-old midfield captain Vicente Iborra.
