Only Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand are close, boasting 11 number one albums apiece. According to Nielsen Music, the project moved 262,000 equivalent album units - with 174,00 coming for traditional album sales - for the week ending July 13. The Beatles lead among all acts, with 19 No. 1 records.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Ever since Vol. 2.Hard Knock Life which came out in 1998, every one of Hov's solo efforts have reached the top spot.

Jigga's album, which was released on June 30 and has already been certified platinum, would have topped the charts last week. Of those 174,000 in sales, 131,000 came as a download while 43,000 were from CDs.

The tally marks the fourth biggest album release of 2017, only behind Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. (603,000 units), Drake's More Life (505,000) and Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Divide) (451,000). Of its total 262,000-unit start, 7,000 were in TEA units, while SEA units represented 82,000 units. The latter sum equals 122.4 million streams of the album's songs.
