However, there are no authentic sources, but news has this.

The controversy of the Indian bowling coach has taken a new turn as Ravi Shastri got his way and Bharat Arun will now be a part of the Indian Cricket Team as the bowling coach. Giving him charge for a two-year term till the next 50-over 2019 Cricket World Cup is a welcome move.

As per a Times of India report, Sehwag wanted to bring along with him a team of support staff that would include physiotherapist Amit Tyagi and Mithun Manhas.

Shastri has maintained that Arun's rich experience in ironing out flaws of the bowlers and his willingness to work in a full-time role will prove vital to Virat Kohlii's team.

The CAC appoints the support staff, Shastri demands his own support staff the following day, and three days later, the CoA steps in and states that the appointments weren't made in the first place and that the head coach would be consulted before naming the consultants. Further details on the supporting staff will be declared in the 4 member panel meeting that will be conducted on Wednesday i.e; July 19th. We have set up a committee and they will speak to the CAC, communicate with them after talking to Shastri.

Singh's opinions do make sense, as do Shastri's, but the question to be asked here was why and how were the aforementioned consultants appointed without taking the head coach into confidence? In selected as the bowling coach of the Indian cricket team, he will have to relinquish his positions both in the TNPL and IPL, as the new BCCI rules have been created to crack down on conflicts of interest. It's not an appointment.

However, now it is clear that the whole point of confirming Dravid and Zaheer Khan will be done only after the meeting with CAC, clarified CoA.

The constitution of the committee, which will comprise BCCI acting President C.K. Khanna, BCCI acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary, Committee of Administrators (CoA) member Diana Edulji and board CEO Rahul Johri as the convenor, virtually signals that the decision to appoint Dravid and Zaheer could be revisited.

India-Sri Lanka series is about to begin on July 19th, so there's no way that Zaheer Khan and Dravid will join the team.
