The Land will differ considerably from the existing Toy Story Lands in Hong Kong and Paris, the premise remains the same: guests shrink to the size of a toy to explore the world with favourite Toy Story characters, including Woody and Buzz, according to the Disney blogpost.

It's official: Disney Cruise Line plans to build a seventh ship to be completed by 2022, a move that nearly doubles the size of the company's fleet. D23 Expo is organized by the Official Disney Fan Club.

Last year, the leader in family cruising announced plans to build two new ships at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany with scheduled completion dates of 2021 and 2023.

"We decided two ships wouldn't be enough to hold all of the exciting new experiences we have been dreaming up to take family cruise vacations to a whole new level with immersive Disney storytelling, world-class family entertainment, and imaginative innovations that are fantastically fun and uniquely Disney", said Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts.

The cruise line has ordered another new cruise ship to be built and once in service, it will be the seventh in the fleet.

While still 4 years away, no ship names, designs or itineraries have been announced for these three ships. All three ships will be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas and all will be the same size.

The ships will be 135,000 tons with 1,250 staterooms each.

Michelle Fee, co-founder and CEO, Cruise Planners, Coral Springs, FL, said: "It's always good for the cruise industry when a new ship is announced". Disney announced yesterday, at D23, that a third ship is being built in-addition to two ships announced a year ago. Alien Swirling Saucers will also be a new attraction.
