A York man is dead 11 days after a motorcycle crash where he wasn't wearing a helmet.

Police and EMS crews were called out just after 1:30am to Ridout St. near Elmwood.

Police said the name of the victim will not be released until proper notification has been made to the man's family. He was discovered on a nearby front lawn, suffering from serious injuries, police said.

A 51-year-old motorcyclist died after he crashing into an SUV making an unsafe maneuver late Friday on the Southeast Side, according to police. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
