All three southbound lanes were closed on I-75 after a fatal crash occurred near Micanopy around 12:34 p.m. on Friday. At 10:32 p.m., Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers were dispatched there for a one vehicle rollover, which apparently had happened about 2 hours earlier.

The 64-year-old driver of the tractor trailer and a passenger were hospitalized with serious injuries, according to the FHP release. It overturned and caught fire.

Firefighters said they had to remove two people from a semitruck that was wedged in between two other trucks.

All lanes of I-75 southbound were shut down for an extended period of time due to the investigation and scene clean up.

Troopers said a auto crashed into the back of a semi-truck that had stopped due to a disabled vehicle.

Driver inattention is being investigated as a contributing factor in the crash.
