CRPF ASI injured in grenade attack in south Kashmir

Yet again violence have striked the Kashmir valley as terrorists lobbed grenade on a police.

One CRPF soldier sustained injuries after suspected militants lobbed a grenade at a naka party in south Kashmir's Kulgam on Saturday.

He said the injured, identified as Rajinder Kumar, was immediately taken to a hospital.

Earlier, at least three militants were killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces on Saturday morning in Tral area of Pulwama district of South Kashmir.

Meanwhile, official sources told UNI that two persons, suspected to be involved in the attack, were detained after a search operation was launched in the area. "The area has been cordoned off and searches mounted to trace the militants", the official said.

No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
