Mithali Raj has certainly made India proud of her incredible performance in the ICC Women's World Cup by becoming the first player who created a record of crossing 6,000 runs in the history of women's ODI. The Chief Minister sent a message in this regard and wished that Mithali Raj, as captain of the Indian women's cricket team and in her own capacity, should get more victories.

Star batter and Indian Women's cricket team skipper, Mithali Raj recently broke the record of highest ODI runs in Women's cricket. He said it is proud moment for the country as Mithali Raj created a record as the highest run getter and Jhulan Goswami as the highest wicket taker. She trumps Charlotte Edwards of England, who retired with a career score of 5,992, as the highest run-scorer in the history of women's cricket.
