Pakistan Army kills 2 jawans in firing from across LoC in Kupwara

The souces said, "Two Indian Army jawans were today martyred after Pakistan Army opened fire in Kupwara area along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir".

In another violation of ceasefire along the LOC, Pakistani troops have killed two Indian soldiers in Furgi area.

The Pakistan firing was unprovoked. On June 26, the occasion of Eid-ul Fitr, the Pakistani army fired small arms and automatic weapons and lobbed mortars along the LoC in Bhimbher Gali sector of Rajouri, according to Times of India. It is yet unknown whether it is the Pakistani Border Action Team or troops who are responsible.

Meanwhile, three Hizbul militants were killed by security forces in a joint operation that began on Tuesday in Kashmir's Budgam district. The jawans were killed during the firing.

Two army personnel were killed on Wednesday after Pakistan Army resorted to firing without any provocation at Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir, according to reports.
