Reinhart took the bronze on Idol in 2011 and her rendition of "Bennie and the Jets" is considered one of the show's very best performances.

Cops were called after Reinhart and a group of guests were asked to leave the bar, then allegedly overturning a table. Since there are many witnesses who saw the violent behavior of Reinhart, the singer was charged with a misdemeanor count of battery and will have to appear in Rolling Meadows' court on August 2. Reinhart allegedly threw the first punch on the way out, which got her booked on battery charges.

They claimed that Reinhart and her friends were forcefully removed in the bar. We believe that she will be exonerated of all charges once the investigation is completed. Her lawyer, Dina LaPolt, is denying the allegations, saying, "Without provocation, Haley Reinhart was assaulted by bouncers at the Lamplighter Inn. We plan on taking legal action against all those who were involved in this unfortunate incident", LaPolt said in a statement via Variety. She is scheduled to perform in Atlantic City on July 21.

After graduating from Wheeling High School, Reinhart attended Harper College where she studied music, with an emphasis on jazz, according to an online biography.

Reinhart now appears on the Netflix series "F Is for Family".
