Last week, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, an unrepentant critic of Mr Buhari, claimed the President was on a life support machine, a claim the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) refuted.

Aisha returned from a similar trip about a month ago, telling Nigerians on her arrival that President Buhari was recuperating fast and had thanked Nigerians for their prayers.

Haruna added that Mrs. Buhari would upon arriving London later today convey Nigerians' best wishes to her husband as well as their prayers for his quick recovery.

The president has been in London for over 50 days for medical treatment, although details and nature of his ill health have not been made public.

WIFE of the President, Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday left for London, United Kingdom to visit her husband who is on medical vacation.

This time around, she will touch down at Addis Ababa first, before she proceeds to the UK.

According to her itinerary, she is expected to stop over at Addis Ababa, to make a symbolic appearance at the meeting of the Organization of African First Ladies against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) on Monday 3rd July, 2017.

He said: "She will join other members to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the organisation, and use the opportunity to reiterate the voting rights of Nigeria in the upcoming elections of the organization".
