In a storm of morning tweets, Trump charged that his predecessor "colluded and obstructed" by failing to act after the Central Intelligence Agency informed him Russian President Vladimir Putin personally ordered an operation to help defeat Trump's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the November vote. "I should be given apology!" he added.

"Completing the thought in his next tweet, Mr. Trump said: ".and did not want to 'rock the boat.' He didn't 'choke, ' he colluded or obstructed, and it did the Dems and Crooked Hillary no good".

US President Donald Trump gestures to members of the media gathered in the Rose Garden at the White House in Washington, June 26, 2017.

After Trump's shock victory in November, some Obama administration officials expressed regret at the lack of tougher action. I should be given apology!

Trump later mirrored a propaganda tactic the USA intelligence community confirmed the Russian government utilized in its active measures: He tried to split the left by turning parts of it against one another.

Russian Federation engaged in an highly sophisticated, multi-layered influence campaign to help elect Trump over Clinton, according to the intelligence community's consensus.

Mr Trump also appears to be under investigation for possible obstruction of justice.

The Associated Press thinks that President Donald Trump is "the ultimate dealmaker".

Well I just heard today for the first time that Obama knew about Russian Federation a long time before the election, and he did nothing about it.

"There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America's elections, in part because they're so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved", Obama said in October. "That gives me a big problem", Trump continued. And I hardly see it.

"So Trump needs to have a good relationship with him but he also needs to fulfill his campaign promises of establishing better relations with Russian Federation".

The Obama administration is facing fresh criticism after The Washington Post reported that Obama was slow and cautious in responding to Russian election interference.

The president's four tweets were bracketed by two other broadsides attacking Democrats for opposing legislative efforts by Republicans to roll back central components of the Affordable Care Act and replace it with their own health plan. All they do is delay and complain.
