Trump accuses Clinton of colluding with Democrats to defeat 'Crazy Bernie Sanders'

President Donald Trump tweeted Sunday that it was "unfair" to "crazy Bernie Sanders" that Hillary Clinton colluded with the Democratic Party to win the nomination previous year.

"Many of the most damaging emails suggest the committee was actively trying to undermine Bernie Sanders's presidential campaign", The Washington Post reported in July of 2016.

Trump hit Clinton, not so much to defend Sanders whom he described as insane, but to counter The Washington Post report on Friday.

He asked if Clinton was allowed to collude with the Democrats. "Unfair to Bernie!" Trump tweeted, seemingly defending the senator just characters after calling him "Crazy Bernie Sanders". President Trump tweeted Saturday, presumably referring to himself.

In case anyone cares, President Trump also tweeted he was going to be Fox & Friends this morning and to "enjoy" it.

During the election, many Sanders backers wound up voting for Clinton, but others cast blank ballots or even voted for Trump, who - like Sanders - gave a voice to many discontented working class people.

The Senate Intelligence Committee is investigating whether there was any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation to sway election results. But that hacking is at the core of the investigation into Russia's possible meddling in the campaign so whether he meant to or not, Trump's tweet once again brings the issue of Moscow's effort to hurt Clinton's candidacy to the forefront.

"Just out: The Obama Administration knew far in advance of November 8th about election meddling by Russian Federation".
