His obituary on notes that he "passed away peacefully ... after watching the Washington Nationals relief pitchers blow yet another lead". That's especially the case for one Virginia-based Nationals fan, who took a little time in his obituary to make sure he zinged the team's frightful bullpen on his way out.

No other cause of death was listed for Killebrew, who was also described as a beloved father and husband.

The obituary asks that in lieu of flowers, mourners direct their donations to the "Nationals Bullpen Fund".

On June 19, the Nationals lost an 8-7 game to the Miami Marlins in which the bullpen blew a one-run lead in the seventh and then lost on a walk-off single in the ninth inning.

Despite the loss that may or may not have led to this fan's passing, the Nationals are still comfortably situated in first place atop the National League East, nine games ahead of the second-place Atlanta Braves.

Washington's bullpen has a 4.88 ERA, fifth worst in the majors, and its relievers have 12 blown saves.
