Huddersfield Town reportedly agree a fee of £10m with Manchester City for midfielder Aaron Mooy.

Mooy, 26, spent last season on loan at Huddersfield and played in their play-off final win over Reading, which secured them a place in the top flight.

Paul Hirst of The Times adds that City have included both sell-on and buy-back clauses in the deal.

It's thought that the bid will be £8m cash up front with a further £2m in add-ons, and if Mooy departs, he will leave Manchester City without even making a single appearance for them having signed on a free from Melbourne City in the 2016 summer.

City have also fielded enquiries from Brighton and Sunderland among others but Mooy is keen to continue under David Wagner in the Premier League.

Twenty-six-year-old Mooy is now on global duty with Australia, who are about to tackle the Confederations Cup in Russian Federation.

Mooy is on Confederations Cup duty with Australia in Russian Federation, with the Socceroos facing Group B games with Germany on June 20 and Cameroon three days later before facing Chile on June 26.

The Terriers start off the campaign with a lengthy away trip down South to Selhurst Park to face currently-managerless Crystal Palace on the opening day, before welcoming also-promoted Newcastle United to the Kirklees Stadium a week later for what should be a delightful homecoming.
