E3 2017: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Release Window Narrowed

Nintendo's E3 Spotlight has shown a new Xenoblade Chronicles 2 trailer. Featuring some of the oddest faux-British accents we've ever heard, despite all of the intense action happening on-screen, it was hard to not be distracted by its oddball Western dub.

Watch the E3 2017 trailer below. They actually lent a hand in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the world is in that game is full of life. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will launch on the Nintendo Switch during Winter 2017. Pyra and Rex will journey to try and find a utopian paradise, known as Elysium, which is considered the "ultimate paradise" for all of humanity. While it's a little disappointing this sequel doesn't seem to feature any of the main cast from the first game, it still looks unbelievable, and I can't wait to play this epic JRPG at home and on the go on my Nintendo Switch, hopefully later this year.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 should be a great match for Nintendo Switch's hybrid functionality, allowing players to jump in for quick sessions of exploration on the go, or delve deeper into its main quest for longer, docked gaming at home. Although we want a specific release date, at least we know we'll be getting it in 2017.
