"Love the guys that we have", added Pederson.

Maclin was a 2009 first-round pick of the Eagles and spent six years with the team before signing with the Chiefs as a free agent. Listen, we're always constantly looking and trying to better our roster at every position but at this time I'm very pleased with what we're working with.

The Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles will hold joint two practices prior to their August 24 preseason game in Philadelphia.

"We wanted to do it previous year", coach Adam Gase said.

"We felt it would be beneficial for our players to go, get out of our environment and play against some different guys", Gase told the Miami Herald Thursday. We were kind of thinking the same thing, along the same lines.

The Eagles announced their training camp schedule on Thursday and it includes a couple of days set aside to work with the Dolphins before they play each other.

In his last season with the Eagles, Maclin made it to the Pro Bowl in 2014 after recording 1,318 receiving yards and 10 touchdown receptions, one year after missing the 2013 season with a torn ACL. The Bills are still missing top receiver Sammy Watkins, who underwent foot surgery in January, while rookie receiver Zay Jones has been held out of practices the past two weeks with a knee injury.

Those two dates - July 29 and August 6 - will be held at Lincoln Financial Field. So, playing at Lincoln Financial Field will be a blast from the past for Alonso and Maxwell.

The Dolphins and Eagles will not be having dual training camp practices as the National Football League collective bargaining agreement has effectively ended that. The Eagles are not scheduled to practice on Monday, July 31, Saturday, August 5 and Friday, August 11.
