J. Dillashaw responds to Demetrious Johnson's statement

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson is fed up with the way the UFC has been treating him and he's now voicing his displeasure. "I'm still out here trying to defend my title, I'm still trying to represent this company as the greatest combat sport on the planet Earth". Unfortunately, UFC's mistreatment and bullying has finally forced me to speak out. The UFC has a drastic star deficit, and yet they aren't even giving Mighty Mouse a shot, even though he is, athletically speaking, quite possibly their best employee. But the longer he waits, the more he's at a deficit should the fight materialize. It would also benefit Johnson's pocketbook because Pettis is a bigger name than Borg. On the other, Johnson has mowed down everyone in the flyweight division and Dillashaw is a fresh face, not to mention a former champ in another division.

"I accepted the fight with Ray and made a decision to deal with the unfair situation and despicable treatment by Dana and Sean after I succeed in breaking the consecutive title fight defense record in my next fight [versus] Borg", Johnson stated.

Mick spoke to me to try to change the offer from Ray to TJ.

Shelby then called Johnson directly to reiterate that he would not be eligible for future PPV bonuses, and then threw some salt in his wounds. The UFC didn't agree to Johnson's terms.

Read the full statement at MMAFighting to hear how the UFC allegedly tried bullying Demetrious into a fight with TJ Dillashaw and how they have been handling the whole situation.

"I'm just tired, I'm exhausted", Johnson said.

"In comparison to others who they promote across their social media platforms, they failed to do their job in promoting me and that monumental event". "My two children that I'm putting time and effort into". We both want the same thing - we both want to be the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, as well as make a lot of money and be promoted.

Johnson issued a statement saying that he had not agreed to anything in regard to Dillashaw and was intent on fighting Borg.

Johnson has already indicated that one of his reservations regarding a fight with Dillashaw is that if his opponent doesn't make weight then it won't be a fight for the belt and he won't be able to break the title defense record. I don't think there's anybody in his weight class right now to push him and I'm healthy, I'm in shape, I'm already in the process - because Dana told me that's who I'm fighting - of dropping to the weight class.

In the statement, Demetrious said that he agreed to the UFC's "tyrannical demand" for him to battle Ray Borg.

"After telling Dana my reasons, Dana angrily told me that I am fighting TJ, once again, with no other option or say in my career, and against the plans we had previously laid out".

The fact that Demetrious Johnson is refusing the fight TJ Dillashaw comes down to the fact that he believes Dillashaw will not make weight before the fight.

"I feel like it's disappointing that Demetrious is going to go out this way and not take the fight", Dillashaw (14-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) today told MMAjunkie.

Who nnew White and Dillashaw were BFFs? The next day, Dana went to the media and announced that I was fighting TJ Dillashaw, in an obvious attempt to bully me in the media and tarnish my reputation.

Take a wile guess as to how well that went? We ended by disagreeing and left it there. He said the UFC have stated they will not pay him in that case. He's the only person in the UFC to hold the flyweight title. A lot of people took different things from the fighter retreat and some people were just there to party in Vegas.
