"Awards season" is a misnomer in 2017, with major-ish trophies now doled out every month of the year - and late May brings the Billboard Music Awards. Headlined by Billboard, a publication giant in the world of music, these annual honours have been airing since 1989.

If you don't have a TV login, you can still live stream the Billboard Music Awards - even for free.

The 2017 edition airs live from the Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena on Sunday, May 21st at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT on ABC, and will be co-hosted by Ludacris and Vanessa Hudgens.

She will be performing that song at Sunday's ceremony.

Drake and The Chainsmokers were the most nominated. This year, the awards night will witness performances by some of the renowned musicians such as Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars and John legend. Twenty One Pilots follow with 17 nominations, and Rihanna with 14.

Nicki Minaj will open the "2017 Billboard Music Awards" with an epic nine-minute performance featuring special guests Jason Derulo, David Guetta and Lil Wayne.

Fans are desperately looking forward to the jam-packed list of performers. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the film Titanic, the bestselling Canadian songstress Celine Dion will take a trip down memory lane with her classic hit "My Heart Will Go On".

Miley Cyrus will make her appearance with her new single, Malibu.
