That is, ice cubes made from literal coffee. Starbucks has a nifty little solution for that. The coffee ice cubes are also now only available at 100 Starbucks Corporation stores in St. Louis and Baltimore.

Would you add coffee ice cubes to your Starbucks iced coffee drink? But it's worth it right?

The gourmet coffee and tea giant is reportedly trying out its newest creation: coffee ice cubes.

Customers who have tried it say it made a significant difference and made the drink taste better.

Will you add coffee ice the next time you head to Starbucks?

A cold cup of coffee - iced coffee or cold brew, whichever you fancy - can be a nice way to cold down and get that jolt of caffeine you need in the summer.

Plus baristas have also been getting creative (what else is new) with coffee ice by blending them into frappuccinos. The company said if consumer-reaction is favorable the coffee cubes could be available in NY soon, perhaps in time for summer. Think about all of the ways that you can spruce up your coffee orders!

Starbucks is no stranger to beverage tests and innovative food launches.
