DxO is best known for creating the photography benchmark DxoMark against which all smartphone cameras are measured.

Now it's time to talk about unofficial things, from what we found out about the camera of the new OnePlus mobile. Based on published images, we can assume that OnePlus will lose 5 3.5 mm audio connector. The site recently awarded HTC U11 with the highest rating for a smartphone camera.

OnePlus is reported to add dual-camera setup on its flagship device but the bone of contention lies in the placement of the cameras.

CHINESE PHONE MAKER OnePlus has announced a partnership with DxOMark that it claims will make for a better camera on the upcoming OnePlus 5. At the second place is the Google Pixel with score of 89. Some reports, including this one, indicates that it will be vertically aligned, but other indicates that it will be aligned horizontally.

The OnePlus 5 is expected to feature top-of-the-line specs including Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB of RAM. Most of the flagship smartphone from various manufacturers always boast how their phone is at the top of the list. The display is expected to be a 5.5-inch 2K display. It will also offer a choice of 64GB or 128GB storage, and will be launched within the next two months - either June or July - but you'll have to wait until summer before you can get your hands on one.

It is also reported that it will come with a bigger 3600 mAh battery (Evan Blass leaked a 4000 mAh non-removable battery).

We already had a pretty good idea that the phone would skip the number 4 as it's seen to be unlucky in China, and go straight to 5, but now it's clear for all to see that that is exactly what OnePlus will be doing. There is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, so it'll likely be on the front of the device.
