As a mark of respect to Vinod Khanna, who passed away earlier today, the producer of Baahubali have made a decision to cancel the Thursday night premier of Baahubali 2. On this note, they planned a gala night of the film premiere on 27th April in Mumbai and invited all the celebrities.

Khanna, a former union minister, breathed his last Thursday morning at the Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital where he was under treatment since almost a month. The actor was devastated at the turnout and said that he expected that with this behaviour not many people from the movie industry would attend his funeral when the time came.

That's not all, in a series of tweet, Rishi Kapoor called Bollywood stars "chamchas" as they were present for the party hosted by Priyanka Chopra, which took place a day before but didn't attend Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them.

President Pranab Mukherjee sent "heartfelt condolences" to the Khannas describing Vinod Khanna as "a highly talented and acclaimed actor and MP". When I die, I must be prepared.

He also clarified in one of his tweets that his wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor were out of country and hence missed the actor's funeral.

In a brief statement, the hospital said Khanna breathed his last at 11.20 a.m. on Thursday due to advanced bladder carcinoma. Karan had written, "His screen presence is unparalleled even today...his super star swag is what we grew up on...." Right from films to politics, Vinod Khanna and I sailed together and he leaves behind an entire generation & more of fans, admirers.

Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his outspoken nature has done it yet again. He has two sons from the first marriage - actors Akshaye and Rahul. Celebs like Subhash Ghai, Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Saroj Khan, Dia Mirza, Ranbir Kapoor, Poonam Dhiloon, Tina Ambani, etc were spotted during the last rites of Vinod Khanna.
