On Tuesday, the Argentine proved he can be just as good as his more famous compatriot, scoring two goals as Juventus beat Barcelona 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal.

Antonio Conte and any other suitors will have to pay a hefty fee for his services with Dybala helping to increase his value with the brace in Juventus' biggest game of the season so far.

Barcelona had everything to play for in the second half as Luis Enrique made a substitute by benching Jeremy Mathieu and bringing Andre Gomes on the field.

Despite Juventus putting themselves in a superb position ahead of the return leg at Camp Nou, perfectionist Allegri believes his side could still improve. Barcelona pillar Andres Iniesta, who couldn't put away an equalizer in the first half, sounded mildly optimistic after the game, saying: "When you don't do things well you get punished".

Barcelona was beaten 3-0 in the first leg of the quarter final of the Champions League against Juventus on Tuesday.

"A coach does everything to help the team and prepare them, but evidently I did not", he said, per ESPN FC.

"Today it is hard for me to think we can get back into this", he said.

And, in another pop at his players, he labelled their first-half performance in Turin the "third half" from their 4-0 defeat in Paris in February. "I am 100 per cent responsible and that's hard".

"It was a great performance, we played well technically both in attack and defence".

Suarez missed a decent opportunity after being set up by Messi, but Juve stood firm to take the precious advantage into the second leg.

As was the case against PSG, Barca had conceded three goals with less than an hour played, and their nearly comical lack of cohesion was underlined by a woefully inept attempt to play Gonzalo Higuain offside in the second half. "Even though I am optimistic, it's natural I also pass through moments when I grieve".
