But Google-owned YouTube TV offers several features the others don't.

YouTube TV, the video platform's live television service, is now available in a limited group of USA cities: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Philadelphia. However, each membership only allows three simultaneous live streams, so only three people can watch live TV at once using one account.

Channels include live streams from ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and more for 50 channels total. There's also access to YouTube Red Originals included within the subscription. Other channels, like Sundance Now and Shudder, will also be available soon for an additional fee.

Yet YouTube TV stands out as the only option that includes live-streaming of all of the major broadcast networks.

Ultimately, though, YouTube TV is about YouTube getting more of its core users - 18- to 34-year-olds - to spend more time on its platforms.

YouTube TV has some nifty features- and some big drawbacks

More networks will soon be added to YouTube TV at no extra cost, including AMC, BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV, WE tv and BBC World News.

The service is available in just five markets now: Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

YouTube TV has some impressive perks.

Streaming services have had so many limitations that they seem more likely to appeal to consumers who don't watch much TV or to cord cutters who have already ended cable TV or satellite subscriptions.

Using YouTube TV is simple. YouTube TV also offers a cloud DVR with no storage limits.

"We've also worked hard behind the scenes to make sharing videos with nearby friends an even more seamless experience, and ensuring that the app works well across a wide range of phones and connectivity". Do you plan on subscribing to the new service?
