But Stephen's response was to ask for joint custody of Madison, and TMZ.com reports he is also planning to ask the judge for the legal right to continue his relationship with 10-year-old Angel, who is the daughter of Mel and comedian Eddie Murphy following their brief fling.

The report comes as it's claimed Mel is fighting Belafonte, who she claims physically abused her during their 10-year-marriage, for sole custody of their children.

In the latest drama surrounding Mel B's messy divorce, her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte is claiming one of his ex-girlfriends is trying to take advantage of all of these allegations and extort him for cash.

And Belafonte's lawyer says claims Belafonte and the former nanny he allegedly impregnated are hiding the tapes and personal items in the storage locker are "pure fiction".

Jamra claimed Mel B and Belafonte agreed "weeks ago" to put Spice Girls memorabilia in storage as their house was going to be sold.

On Friday, a Los Angeles judge granted a second order banning Stephen from distributing sex tapes, photographs or other sexually explicit material of Mel.

Mel maintains that Gilles and Belafonte had an affair, and even goes so far as to insist that Belafonte got Gillis pregnant.

The 41-year-old film producer reportedly threatened to release the sex tapes, which were thought to be in the locker in question, unless Mel rehired Gilles with a raise.

Mel B previously accused Gilles of having sex with Belafonte.

According to legal documents Mel B filed last week, her husband Bolafonte also stored photos of her deceased father in the storage facility. She was forced to re-hire her after her husband threatened to destroy her career by leaking damaging stories to Child Protective Services and the media.

Will Stephen Belafonte take this offer and let the singer be?

Yes, she's under pressure but I think she's in a good place.
