The Houston Humane Society added: "At minimum, riding a horse inside a store is incredibly irresponsible".

They were inside the store on Beltway 8 near Bissonnet Street for at least two minutes. Almost 10,000 people had commented on the video, in a variety of languages.

Their horses seemed completely at ease in the store environment, walking calmly through the aisles and past the crowds of humans doing their weekly shop. "It was like you only live once, you know?"

"We is in Wally World", Fields says in the video, "Wal-Mart".

"I was just trying to make people smile and laugh", Fields told KPRC-TV.

The company's corporate office released a statement saying they do not condone the so-called "reckless stunt".

One horse relieved himself in the worst way inside the store, he said.

Global News spoke to the Houston Police Department and was told Walmart has not contacted them, nor has an investigation into the incident been launched. "The Houston Humane Society urges all pet owners to think and act responsibly when it comes to the lives of animals in their care". It appears everyone was having a good time and many children were able to experience the horses first hand.

People not from Texas sometimes believe everyone from Texas has a horse, but that's not the case.
