Yuengling's Butterbeer Ice Cream.

Yuengling Ice Cream has taken the next step in its assumed love of all things Harry Potter with the introduction of its Butterbeer flavor. "We hope we made J.K. Rowling proud with this flavour". It's manufactured by Yuengling Ice Cream, which was founded by owner D.G. Yuengling & Son Brewery during the prohibition period, but is no longer affiliated with the beer company of the same name.

Yuengling's Ice Cream makers have released a butterbeer flavor to select shelves at supermarkets in the northeast.

Soon enough, Harry Potter fans and muggles may not have to travel all the way to Japan's Wizarding World of Harry Potter to quaff a mug of butterbeer. The result is magical decadence that will transport you to another place and time.

Having turned to social media to gauge customer interest levels and solicit fan feedback on new flavors, Yuengling's said that Strawberry has been a consistent request since the brand relaunched in 2014.

Butterbeer fans have already been able to get a glass of butterbeer in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.

Buttercream and butterscotch flavors, in addition to a butterscotch swirl.

So, what's the overall taste you can expect if you decide to drown your Moaning Myrtle-like sorrows in a tub of Butterbeer ice cream? Started in 1920, Yuengling's Ice Cream was on the shelves for 65 years. The Huffington Post reported that both new flavors can be purchased in most grocery stores, and each pint should retail for $3.99.
